Howdy, Capcom. First off, I want to say thanks to you guys for actually LISTENING to your fan base. I don't know of many companies that actively do this, game industry or otherwise. You guys definitely do, and it's appreciated. Anyhow. I just wanted to voice my own wishes for a Wii version of Street Fighter IV, understanding that no, the Wii's graphics aren't what that of the 360's or the PS3's are, and no, there's no place for motion control in a SF4 game. That said, I think game developers are running into this problem that they faced when the DS came out, that being that the special features of the hardware don't HAVE to be used in every game. For instance, devs now realize that not every DS game has to be a pen-based fiesta. Some games are just great with the joypad and buttons. Same goes for the Wii: the Wii has a beautiful classic controller that would just be lovely to play SF4 with, I'm sure. Or, I'm sure SF fans would love to see a special pack-in controller similar to what was offered on the PS2 (6 buttons all on the face). Sure, I think Wii owners would be understanding in the fact that their version may not be as graphically stellar as their 360/PS3 counterparts, but you've got a rabid Nintendo hardware fanbase that's been following you around since the days of SF2/Bionic Commando. Include them in your latest offerings! And really..after all is said and done..graphics didn't make SF an amazing franchise. Look at Guily Gear. Looks amazing, but it will never hold a candle to SF. The brilliant gameplay of SF can translate to any current-gen console.

Actually, there was motion sensory in a diffrent Wii game that was a dighting game, the Wii addition of Mortal Kombat:Armageddeon. Anyway, i'd say that we'll hold the controller on the side and such. Religion was not born of ignorance. PSN ID: Scuttlest Switch Friend Code: SW-5285-3084-9907

If SF4 goes to WII, I will need a bigger room if I am gonna do the hurricane kick. :p It's bad enough hitting things with your hands. Oh well stick with Naruto. Ra-zen-Gan! Awaiting Resident Evil 6 Will not take out of signature till translated officially

Please read what I wrote before responding. I just said that motion controls should be omitted on the Wii.

yeah i know. i just don't want this game for WII. that's my opion. graphically wise i dunno..using the classic control..still nope. one reason maybe here is that when FF is ported to Nintendo Snes they made a babe into a half. That sticked to my mind all these years. Lets go with Mario and other cool adventure games on WII. Awaiting Resident Evil 6 Will not take out of signature till translated officially

Wince 5.0 download. This is interesting to me. What controller do you find superior to the Wii Classic Controller? Why would you feel the CC can't handle Street Fighter? It's as good as, if not better than the SNES contoller which pioneered SF-at-home.

While I will definitely be getting this on a system that is not called Wii, I still would like to see SFIV reach the widest fanbase possible. SFIII suffered when it was released solely on Dreamcast. The game had already been poorly received, but having it available to only a small number of buyers certainly didn't help. I worry that if this game isn't released on all consoles, it may not be well received leading Capcom to yet again abandon the SF series. Arcade 1st, PS3/360/PC/Wii next.

must be I played too much on my PS2 and that's the controller gotten use too. Dunno maybe it's how you touch it and how it rests on hands. PS controllers have that kinda feel. But I like the WII remote in boxing and Zelda. Makes me break a sweat. :) Awaiting Resident Evil 6 Will not take out of signature till translated officially

Theres not enough buttons on the Wii-mote, Classic Controller or GC Controller for a Street fighter Game. Its a 6 button set that needs 8 buttons to play. 3 punches & kicks and 3P & 3K. Thats why the PS2/3 controlers are perfect for SF gaming. Especially since the Analog stick is where it should be.

exactly. Theres no reason to make Street Fighter for Nintendo's console. It just doesn't have the hardware for something really next generation. |
